School Store

In an effort to continue practicing counting money, we are opening a school store in our classroom.  Students will be given coins, based on good behavior, effort, and showing peace and kindness towards others, with "Bookworm money" in the form of pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters.  These are super special coins that will allow us to collect prizes to take home.

We can't wait to open our store!

  2. How do we earn money?

    We earn money for:
--coming to school on time and unpacking our things nicely
    --listening to the teacher
    --being a caring friend
--doing our work at reader's, writer's, and math workshop
    --working cooperatively in literacy centers

... we've been collecting a lot of coins already!
