Meet the Characters in Our Books

From mid-April to mid-May we'll be learning about the characters in our books.  As a class we have been reading about Junie B. Jones, a first grader, just like us!  She goes through a lot of the same problems we go through.  We learn how Junie B. solves the problems she faces and think if we would do it the same way she did.


In our reading clubs we are reading books with characters such as: Biscuit, Fly Guy, Katie Woo, Henry and Mudge, and Cam Jansen.  What book are you reading?

Earth Day

Earth Day is quickly approaching!

As a class,we will be making a pledge to make our world a better place.  Click here to listen to our pledge.

School Store

In an effort to continue practicing counting money, we are opening a school store in our classroom.  Students will be given coins, based on good behavior, effort, and showing peace and kindness towards others, with "Bookworm money" in the form of pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters.  These are super special coins that will allow us to collect prizes to take home.

We can't wait to open our store!
